- Buses leave from the stop on Calle Nueva, opposite the Iglesia del Nazareno and near the Maxi Palí supermarket (on Google Maps: «Nueva terminal de buses a Rivas»). Arrive about 30 minutes early to get a seat.
- If you miss the direct bus, take a bus to Nandaime from the same stop and change at the highway junction to the next bus to Rivas.
- Large bags travel on the roof and pay extra, about C$50.
